An 18-year-old woman has been allegedly raped and brutally murdered by some criminals at Anwiankwanta in the Ashanti Region. The crime is suspected to have happened on the 17th of October, 2023.
According to residents and witness account, the 18-year-old apprentice was picked up by some individuals in a vehicle who offered to drop her off at her residence. She then went with them and failed to return.
When she failed to return, concerned community members began searching for her, and tragically, her lifeless body was discovered in an uncompleted building just a few meters from her residence.
Investigations are underway as police try to uncover the perpetrators of this heinous crime.
