TECNO, a global AI-powered technology brand and subsidiary of Transsion Holdings, has secured the role of Global Partner for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025 and the TotalEnergies CAF AFCON tournaments in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda in 2027. This renewed partnership follows a successful collaboration during the 2023 TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire, where TECNO served as the exclusive smartphone sponsor.

CAF General Secretary Véron Mosengo-Omba announced the partnership in Nairobi, praising TECNO’s investment in African football. He highlighted that the partnership will help the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations, Africa’s largest sporting event, continue to grow and reach new audiences across the continent.

Benjamin Jiang, Vice President of Transsion Holdings, expressed pride in the renewed collaboration, emphasizing the shared success and trust built with CAF. He noted that their previous partnership demonstrated how football ignites passion and how AI-powered smart technologies connect and empower millions across Africa. Jiang described the partnership as a symbol of ambition and a platform for young people to shine, reflecting a shared vision to harness AI-driven innovation to create a brighter future for Africa.

Over the next two years, TECNO will reinforce its pan-African vision and commitment to digital innovation by inspiring, empowering, and connecting millions through technology and sport. TECNO will continue its “Dream Field Renovation” campaign, launched in collaboration with CAF in 2024, aiming to renovate 100 football fields across Africa by 2028. This initiative promotes healthy living, fosters youth engagement, and ensures access to quality playing fields in underserved communities.

TECNO operates in over 70 markets across five continents, focusing on transforming the digital experience in emerging markets. The brand integrates contemporary design with cutting-edge technologies and artificial intelligence. Its product ecosystem includes smartphones, smart wearables, laptops, tablets, smart gaming devices, the HiOS operating system, and smart home products.

Guided by the brand essence “Stop At Nothing,” TECNO pioneers AI-driven experiences, inspiring individuals to pursue their best selves and brightest futures.
