John Dumelo, the NDC parliamentary candidate for Ayawaso West Wugon, has dismissed the notion that he will lose again. This development comes after videos of Lydia Alhassan, the incumbent Member of Parliament, were circulated online. In the videos, she was providing transportation for Level 100 students at the University of Ghana. This donation was made to aid their journey back home after a two-week vacation.

Dumelo responded to a tweet that suggested that the battle would be tough for him the second time around. He stated that the students being transported were his people, and their transportation would not sway votes to favor Alhassan.

John Dumelo, a well-known actor and businessman, believes that the second time will see him win. This he attributed to him righting his wrongs from the 2020 defeat. He is confident of winning the race, despite Maa Lydia’s actions.

Hon. Lydia Alhassan’s actions have generated some buzz on social media, with many praising her for her kind gesture towards the students. However, Dumelo’s response shows that he is not intimidated by her actions and is confident of his chances in the race.
