A fire outbreak at Makola shopping mall has razed many shops. The unfortunate event occurred last night after most shops had closed for the day.
The shops that were burnt included perfume, cosmetics, and wig shops.
The unfortunate incident which occurred on the evening of 20th October, 2023. Many traders were left in tears after they saw their hard work being ransacked by the unforgiving fire.
Even though emergency response services including the fire service of Ghana were present, they couldn’t do much to forestall the ravaging effects of the fire outbreak. Investigations are underway to ascertain the cause of the fire.
Traders have however been advised to engage the services of insurance companies in order to mitigate the economic woes that comes with such fire outbreaks.
