In a strategic move, Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s largest carrier, is set to bolster its Accra service. For the second time this year, solidifying its commitment to enhancing connectivity in the region.

Expanded Service in March: A Prelude to Further Growth

In March 2023, Ethiopian Airlines announced a surge in its direct daily service to eleven weekly flights. They introduced four new flight options and expanding its presence in the Ghanaian capital.

Effective November 3, 2023, the airline is gearing up for a significant expansion. They are increasing the frequency to an impressive fourteen flights per week, catering to diverse traveler preferences.

Revised Schedule for Enhanced Travel Options

The revised departure timings offer a variety of options throughout the week. This comprises seven afternoon flights, four early morning departures, and three evening flights.

Operational Efficiency with Modern Aircraft

Subject to unforeseen operational adjustments, Ethiopian Airlines intends to operate these fourteen weekly services using a combination of Airbus A350 and Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft, ensuring modernity and operational efficiency.

Positioning for the Future: A Leader in African Aviation

With a robust presence across Pan African networks, Ethiopian Airlines serves over 145 domestic and international destinations across five continents.

The diverse fleet, featuring Boeing 737s, 767-300s, 777s, 787s, Airbus A350-900s, and DHC Dash 8-400 double cabins, maintains an average fleet age of just seven years, reinforcing its dedication to quality and modernity.
